*Physical Appearance: Sunset orange coat with eyes like raspberry jelly. Her purple mane and tail are tied at the ends, and she wears 80's star earrings. Her CutieMark is three pink candy gears that match the colour of her eyes.

*Smells like: Candy (if she's been making some)

*Speaking style/sound: Slight Brooklyn accent

*Common phrases: "Stellah!", "YOU GUYS ARE JERKS!", "Like WHAT?", "Yeah? Well tell 'em I just don't care.", "How are ya?", "I'd keep chicky if I was you.", "J'eat?", "Fuhgetaboutit.", "Whassamattuh witchoo?", "You don't know from nuttin' what I been troo.", "Who died an' made JOO boss?!"

*Virtues/strengths/best qualities: Self-sacrificial, humble, generous in both goods and services, bluntly honest

*Sins/weaknesses/worst qualities: Stubborn, often says offensive things, is jealous of her sister,  bottles up her emotions, comes off as a grump

Note: Though her words are often harsh and hurtful, her actions are the polar opposite. She does lots of random acts of kindness around the village, which is one of the reasons why she keeps the friends she makes.

*Parents: Her parents divorced when she was a young filly, which left permanent scars on Candy Gear's heart. Her mother remarried a nice stallion a year later, but Candy was too hard-hearted to fully warm up to him.

*Rebellion from parents: Candy Gear makes a point to treat everypony around her EQUALLY without picking favourites.

*Other family: Candy's mother and step-father later had a foal together, which hurt Candy further, because her baby sister is the obvious family favourite. They spoiled Pumpkin Fizz while Candy Gear was neglected.

*Livingspace: A small two-floor cottage in Fenlock. The bottom floor is a kitchen that contains an old stove and presser-mould where she makes her candy gears. Pots and pans are haphazardly piled upon a crate across from a simple tea table and pillows (because she can't afford a proper dining set). The top floor is a cozy bedroom with four beds, a washstand, a fireplace, two hay bales, a potted plant, and a puzzle.

*Insecurities: She hates to be complimented because it makes her question the sincerity of the pony who complimented her (she tends to over-analyze the intentions of others)

*What does she really care about? Finding a home to belong in, earning the love and respect of those around her, proving her worth through her candy business

*Fears: Getting what she wants and then losing it, thus becoming a laughing stock. She is also terrified of spiders and geese.

*What makes her happy? Thoughtful gifts from her friends, knowing that she has satisfied a customer, and being told that she's been missed. Candy Gear also thinks that "OHHH, better get some ice for that BUUUUUUUUURRRRRRN!" jokes are hilarious (as long as they are meant to insult someone she doesn't like)

*What makes her sad? Rainy days, being yelled at, winters with no snow, friends who don't want to be friends any more, favoritism, remembering her childhood ("It was a piece o' crap.")

*Favourite Things and Activities: Making candy gears, hanging out with her friends, doing nice things for others, the 80's

*Favorite music: Anything 80's or jazzy

*Favorite foods: Toast with jam, sandwiches, mashed potatoes, pasta, apples, carrots, lemons, limes, chocolate chip cookies, Starberry Blitz's icecream, cereal marshmallows (but never the cereal itself)

*Favorite drinks: water, lemonade, strawberry lemonade, pineapple lemonade, apple cider, coconut milk

*Favorite colors: Dark pink, purple, black

*Least favorite things: She HATES country music, food that stinks, favoritism, and black licorice. She is allergic to peanut butter.

*What does she do to unwind? When she needs to blow off steam, she rocks out and jams to music, jumping and dancing all over her house (a practice that tends to annoy her neighbors). When she needs to relax, she goes for a walk and then takes a nap. When she's upset, she talks to Duncan the Dapper Donkey, her plushie.

*Does she have any pets? Nope.

*Battle Abilities/Crisis Use: Though she is a little smaller than most mares, Candy Gear is surprisingly strong. Her stubborn grumpiness can come in handy when standing up to enemies as well, for she loves to talk smack.
