Description

Blackberry Tavern- This is one of the oldest buildings in Fenlock. It is divided into five parts; the inn, the kitchens, the cellar, the restaurant, and the home of the Bramble family. Blackberry Tavern's bustling restaurant and kitchens are located underground just above the cellar. During Winter Wrap Up, the citizens of Fenlock gather snow to store in the cellar, making a natural refrigerator. Back in the days of Destrier the Green, the Tavern was a mead hall that housed and fed the entire village. To this day, ponies still gather here to drink blackberry mash and hard apple cider (often with mead or ale in it.)

Verdant Square- List of peddlers and stalls pictured; Soap Stand, Potato Stall, Black Pearl Pepper and Spice Stall, Carrot Stand, Buttermoon's Popcorn, Starberry Blitz Icecream. (Fun fact: Verdant Square is loosely based on Merchant Square in Colonial Williamsburg)

Fenlock Museum- This building was constructed to house the historical artifacts found in and around Fenlock. Its most notable exhibits are Destrier's armour, remnants of weapons that were used during the Battle of Fenlock, and an ornate wedding dress that was believed to have been worn by a mare of nobility.

Destrier's Statue- This tribute to Fenlock's founder was donated to the village by a medieval history enthusiast from Canterlot. Somewhere underneath the statue is a secret door that leads to Town Hall.

The Sentimental Shoppe- There are four different areas in this shop; Sweetheart's house is upstairs, while the Pink Sugar Bakery, gift emporium, and second-hoof clothing store are downstairs. The Sentimental Shoppe is the go-to place for anniversary and Hearts and Hooves Day gifts.

Library- The shelves in here are rather tall and stuffed with all manner of books. The walls are made of red brick and decorated with old tapestries. The most popular books that ponies check out are fairy tales, recipe books, how-to manuals, pop-up stories, and botanical guides.

The Stained Feather Bookstore- While most of the books in the library are over a hundred years old, the bookstore was opened by Raconteur to sell newer items. Writing supplies and copies of "Worst Fashions" magazine are the most common purchases.

Firehouse- Because of dangerous encounters with dragons, phoenixes, and other flame-producing creatures, the Firehouse was built on top of Fenlock's dilapidated police station. Police-ponies still use the offices and jail cells downstairs, but the two upper floors are used to store water and firefighting equipment. Prototype telephone lines have been set up to connect villagers to the Firehouse in case of emergencies.

Apothecary- This shop is owned by Dr. Herbal Remedy, an expert potion and medicine maker. As his name implies, he prefers using herbal remedies to cure his patients and customers.

Toys & Antiques- There is hardly a dull moment when browsing the Toys & Antiques shop in Fenlock. Colts and fillies alike tend to frolic among the shelves and display windows of playthings new and old, while older ponies quietly look over the fascinating antiques and trinkets found upstairs (hidden away from the racket of exuberant foals.)

Repair Shop-If a pony is in need of repairs, (especially furniture or metal-related ones, with the exception of clocks), this is the place to go. (Broken clocks and other gear-operated items are given to Clockwork Clover.)

General Store- Modern imports from Ponyville, Canterlot, and Baltimare are sold here (often for very low prices.) This shop was built to make tourists feel more at home among the medieval atmosphere of Fenlock, but it is also a frequent stop for some of the village's thriftier residents.

Schoolhouse- Mrs. Bramble teaches here year-round to both foals and adult ponies on a wide variety of subjects. Guests speakers are often invited to teach here as well. Engraved above the door are the words, "Learning is a privilege."

Oyster Orchard- Pink Pearl Apple lives on this small farm with her three geese and four dairy goats.

The Neighborwood- After walking down a path concealed by a tunnel of trees, the forest opens up to reveal a collection of charming cottages. Notable residents of the Neighborwood are Button Pie, Candy Gear, Pumpkin Fizz, and Drillbit.
